Reconstruction Technician - Large-Loss Restoration (Water | Fire | Mold)

Location:   Greater Tampa Bay Area

Compensation & Earning Potential:
  • Typical starting range: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)
  • Total annual earnings commonly reach $75,000+
  • Overtime, on-call, storm deployment, and extended hours increase earning potential
  • Pay reflects skill level, productivity, and ability to operate independently

Position Summary:
SCR is seeking an experienced Reconstruction Technician to support large residential and commercial restoration projects resulting from water, fire, mold, and storm losses. This role requires a strong multi-trade background and the ability to perform in structured, production-driven environments.

Core Trade Expertise: 
  • Carpentry & structural repairs
  • Drywall, painting, flooring
  • Kitchen & bath reconstruction
  • Working knowledge of plumbing & electrical
  • Restoration/insurance experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform demolition, repairs, and reconstruction per approved scopes
  • Maintain job-site safety, quality, and professionalism
  • Support emergency response and mitigation when needed
  • Participate in on-call rotation and storm deployment
  • Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years residential/commercial remodeling experience
  • Strong knowledge of building methods & codes
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record
  • Ability to lift 75–100 lbs and work in demanding environments
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Background check required

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
